Project Brief
Moving Tomorrow
Educational Serious Game
The point-and-click serious game focuses on intercultural competence and is aimed at students and professionals. I conducted comprehensive QA across both parts of the game, resolving minor issues directly and escalating larger ones to the development team.

TLDR
I systematically tested gameplay, player feedback systems, visual and content consistency, and overall usability. Each issue was logged with clear reproduction steps, prioritised, and either resolved directly or coordinated with the development team for larger fixes.

✦ Moving Tomorrow
Where Education Meets Game Design
Moving Tomorrow bridges the gap between academic intercultural management theory and immersive, practical learning. Players take the role of Lucy, an ambitious young professional at Berlin start-up Runergy, navigating international work environments and making culturally-loaded decisions that shape the story's outcome.

Point-and-Click Adventure
Built in the tradition of classic adventure games, Moving Tomorrow lets players explore locations, interact with NPCs, and trigger branching narrative paths. Every click is a cultural choice.

Branching Dialogues
Rich dialogue trees place players in real intercultural dilemmas: when to share vs. withhold information, how to navigate hierarchy, and how to balance private and professional life across cultures.

Embedded Insights
Players are introduced to culture, intercultural management, and diversity & inclusion. Players engage with scientific frameworks on cultural differences, cross-cultural similarities, and intra-national diversity within an international business context.

Blended Learning Format
Each episode is followed by in-class discussion and reflection. The game is not a standalone product but a catalyst — designed to spark conversation and deepen academic engagement.
✦ Moving Tomorrow
Quality Assurance
I was responsible for the end-to-end QA process across both game modules and operated after a checklist.
Testing a serious game is fundamentally different from testing a conventional product. The intersection of educational rigour, narrative branching, and cultural sensitivity created a set of challenges unlike anything in standard QA practice.
